The mask is suitable for all skin types, but especially people with mixed skin type can find it very balancing for their skin. Also irritated skin will love it!
2 tbsp rose water
1 tbsp plain yogurt, for example Greek yogurt
1 tbsp organic honey
Measure yogurt and runny honey into a bowl and mix together. If the honey is thick, you can make it runnier in a warm water bath. Stir in the rose water. You can buy rose water or prepare it yourself (see below). Apply the mask to cleansed face and neck. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse.
ROSE WATER
About 4 organic or wild roses
2 cups of water
Pluck the petals from the roses and rinse them with water. Add water into a saucepan and bring to boil. Add in the rose petals and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes – until the colour of the petals is dissolved in water. Pour the mixture into a large sealable jar. Let the rose water stand in a refrigerator overnight. In the morning, squeeze the excess water from the petals into the remaining water, toss the petals away and pour the water into bottle(s). Store the rose water in the refrigerator and use within a few weeks. Use for beauty care, for example as a toner or mixed into a facial mask.
