Wild Rose Foot Cream

Dip your toes in the cream: DIY Feet softener with shea butter, almond oil and bees wax

(3 oz jar )

1 tbsp shea butter

1 tbsp of beeswax

¼ cups almond oil

  • Approx 15 drops of essential oil of your choice, for example 15 drops of peppermint oil and 5 drops of tea tree oil.

Wash and boil a glass jar in hot water for 5 minutes to disinfect it. Dry the jar carefully, leaving no drops of water. Grate the beeswax and shea butter, for example into a metal bowl. Melt them in a warm water bath until liquid. Add in the almond oil and stir. Take the bowl from the water bath and stir it (for example with a milk frothier), so that the mixture becomes slightly foamy. Put the cream in the fridge to solidify for 5 minutes. When the cream has thickened, drip the essential fragrance oil in it and stir the mixture again, for example with a hand blender. The composition of the mixture is supposed to be like a thick whipped cream. Be careful, however, not to whip it too much, so that the mixture won’t become grainy and buttery. Spoon the mixture into a sealable glass jar. Use the cream to moisturize and soften your feet. Dry elbows and hands will love it too!
