Moisturizing avocado mask

Avocado is a great moisturizer for both hair and skin, but when you add in some some high-quality cold-pressed vegetable oil you get a wonderfully nourishing and moisturizing mask

Avocado is in itself a wonderful moisturizer for dry skin, but when you add in some high-quality cold-pressed vegetable oil, you get a wonderfully nourishing and moisturizing mask. You can pick almost any cold-pressed vegetable oil you like, such as olive oil, almond oil or any nut oil. By testing oils on your skin you will find the most suitable solution for you.

1 ripe avocado

3 tbsp olive oil

Peel the avocado, remove the stone and puree the flesh in a blender or with a fork. Stir in the olive oil. Apply the mixture to clean skin and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water. If you use the mixture as a hair mask, wet & towel dry your hair first, then spread the mixture on the dry ends. If your scalp is dry, rub some mixture on your scalp as well. Cover your hair for example with a shower cap and leave the mask on for about 20 minutes. Rinse, wash with shampoo and finish off with a conditioner.
